If say honestly, there is almost nothing to see in Canada.

It is no sense to take a photograph of Canadian fall: spray covers object glass and do not allow to see details. «Glossy» photographs get from the tower on which whirling restaurant is situated.

Only 5% of Niagara’s water are left above ground as a show for tourists.95% Niagara water took away below ground – there are hydroelectric power plants – Canada’s and America’s. Exactly neighborhood American and Canadian cities joint by bridge and visa-free customs on the beaches amazes more than Niagara. The longest unguarded boundary in the world divides Canada and USA, movement is free, it is enough to show passport.

Another Canadian fame is CN tower in Toronto. CN tower had status of the highest tower of the world (555 m) till last year, it was pressed by Dubai tower in 2007.

There is the glass floor in one of the level of the tower, and people have fun photographing each other at a height of 447 meters against the background of city under feet.

Healthy life-style of people and animals

Graciousness and safety of Canadian life are underlined by animals which have adapted both to roads and to city absolutely. Symbols of Canada – a maple, a beaver, a moose, Canadian goose, loon are adequate to political indifference of Canadians and their adherence to nature. Squirrels roam around cities (which are disliked by Canadians because squirrels penetrate into wood houses), dears come to cottages, geese boss near Lake Ontario. There are herd of metal cows at the centre of Toronto among skyscribes.

There is dog in every third family. There walk only with dogs (and with invariable sack) or pensioners walk with hand cart-chair on the street. The others either drive or run. If I had lived here one week more, I would have not remained – would have run too. Running is as naturally in Canada as drinking beer is on our streets.

One of the most favorite enterprises is golf. There is a lot of earth in Canada, and construction of golf fields is like way to sight territory of human environment.

Canada is not the most religious country, and it is not advantage to be a believer here as in USA, for example. Although there is a lot of churches, but they are without entourage and not flamboyant.

Television is like ours but without blood and violence. There are the same shows, the same films. Shops repeat our ones (exactly, our shops repeat theirs) accurate within models and organization. Canadians could only avoid consumer fever somehow, and glowing eyes of shopaholics did not observe in shops.

In Canada, shops and restaurants are placed densely; there are only residential settlements on many kilometers because Canadians lay in a store on a week ahead, finding special time for shopping. In Chelyabinsk and Yekaterinburg, quantity of small shops, shops, supermarkets exceed quantity of their Canadian colleagues in times. In Toronto’s center, shops leaved under earth – 28 km of underground streets are rich in shops, cafes, banks and offices.

Another important distinction from Russia is absence of guards, and not only in shops. Incidentally, such absence specifies feeling of security. We saw concentration of polices only one time, and polices, on our Russian view, were slightly not serious: they laughed and spoke to people. Jon said: “it is a house for indigents, something happened probably”. The house for indigents (homeless person asylum) stood in Toronto’s centre, and if it were not for Jon’s words, we would never guess about its purpose.

Jon prejudiced us before arrival that two disappointments waited us in Canada: unattractive clothes and tasteless food. Preventions are justified: beautiful clothes are in shops only, but not in streets. Women dress by the principle of comfort but not beauty (we saw any more than ten women on heels during two week). Trainers, jeans, jackets are the most widespread costume.

About food, Jon tried to lead us to the best restaurants, being not sorry about time travel. Unfortunally, Canadian variety in restaurants boils down to variety of interiors and dishes rather than to variety of tastes. A menu is short everywhere, dishes amaze amount of food, but not quality.

A cake was the tastiest that we ate in Canada, it was baked by Marcela, Jon’s wife, to my birthday.

It should make a special emphasis on how Canadians work – very beautifully, quietly, without glowing eyes, but also without laziness. Simply – work. Masters and different chiefs executing functions of supervisor could not be seen, it seemed they are not. It is enough professionalism and self-discipline. For example, a car with two workers is come (one drove it), they went out, got equipments and started to work. Nobody sits at factories and small factories, but nobody drives on, everyone does one’s job, completes – goes to help a colleague. Perhaps, exactly work of Canadians is the most beautiful in Canada.
